GRANTS

El Reno Public School Foundation manages four (4) grant programs for the purpose of maximizing the quality of education available in El Reno Public Schools.

Leslie F. Roblyer Leadership Grant

The purpose of this grant, named for an icon of education in the El Reno community, is to provide funding to educational leaders (administrators, directors) who are seeking professional development opportunities to enhance their leadership skills and abilities. There is a $1,000 cap on the grant request. The grant application deadline is the Friday following Fall Break.

Special Education Classroom Grant in Memory of Sue Terneus

The purpose of this grant, in honor of Sue Terneus, is to support students with special needs and the faculty that serve them. The maximum grant amount is $1,000. The grant application deadline is the Friday following Fall Break.

Individual Staff Member/Classroom Foundation Grant

The purpose of this grant is to allow individual staff members of El Reno Public Schools to request funding for resources which will benefit students, faculty, and staff within a specific grade level and/or content area. The maximum grant amount is $1,000. The grant application deadline is the Friday following Fall Break.

Walker High School Grant

This grant is limited to applicants from El Reno High School. The grant, named for the Walker Family’s generous endowment, allows EHS faculty to request funding for resources which will enhance the classroom experience for the students. Requested resources must be those which are not available through the district’s regular school budget. The grant application deadline is the Friday following Fall Break.

School Site Foundation Grant

The purpose of this grant is to allow individual school sites within El Reno Public Schools to request funding for resources which will benefit the students, faculty, and staff of the entire school site. Applications must be submitted by the Site Administrator. The Spring grant application deadline is the Friday following Spring Break.
